Spring? Summer?? Cookouts

I am so falling down on my blog lately... I have been OVERWHELMED with everything that's going on!! But in the last week I/we have:

.....RAN MY VERY FIRST 5K SATURDAY MORNING ~ The Run for John up & down Haig Mill - yes it was HARD, and not to mention - HILLY... Thanks to Ali girl who finally talked me into doing it! WHOO HOOO...YAY ME! I am very very proud of myself, my time was 39.41!

After that we jammed everything we could into a Saturday (except for naps), with babysitting Waelyn James, watching my beautiful niece and nephew play in their very first teeball game, having lunch & shopping with Teppy, then attempting to get Park & Wae down for a nap (might I add, I didn't get home to shower during all of this - YUCK)!

......Then we had a Mommy/Baby cookout with all of our girlfriends and watched Peyton, Park & Wae play, dance, fight and just be their cute selves! It was a great night!

I love these 3 - we've been friends since our SHS days and have recently started hanging out more and more - of course we have more in common these days - KIDS!

....and we even got a surprise at 1 a.m. at our house - Anthony came home! YAY!!

As if we weren't tired for all of that excitement we Jammed our Sunday full as well! Anthony threw a loin on first thing...Julie had a jewlery party....I somehow managed to clean my house, and we hosted a cookout for our out of town friends (claims peeps)!!

......but we didn't let Monday slow us down any, Anthony tried to make all of his visits, Jager's baseball practice starting, and getting prepared for the big McMullen/Hackney wedding on Saturday! I'm not sure at least point but I think I'm exhausted and running on fumes... OH did i mention that my poor Ozzy was hit by a car yesterday (Wednesday), so we rushed to the vet to get him taken care of - $400 and a fractured pelvic bone later - we let Park spend the night with Mamaw and tried to get a good night's rest!

Not really sure why I wanted to give that recap of my weekend/week but there it is..Proof that I love my life, my friends and thank God everyday for these great blessings he continues to give me.
