My Baby Grew Up

WOW...where did the years go? My big babe turned 8 on Sunday (Mother's Day) and he's still as perfect as he was the day he was born. I should have known he would be stubborn after the 17 hours of labor and the heart condition I developed during his birth. We had 7 people in the room during - and about 15 standing just outside the door, it looked like one big party to celebrate his little self!!

The funniest thing about his birth is that the doctor's didn't realize just how long my legs were, so some of the "in the room party" had to hold my dead weight legs because they wouldn't fit in the sturips!! I laugh now but was OVERLY embarrassed then. Picture your mother, grandmother, sister, and best friend holding your legs, while your crazy cousin runs around the room taking all kinds of money shots, baby daddy about to faint as his mother chats on her cell phone saying "he's almost here".... Fun times!!! LOL....
