Love those Colts.

Watch out Peyton Manning, our DPRD Colts are taking the field by storm. We had a rocky start this football season switching from the county program to the city and not getting on the team that we wanted, BUT I "ate" my words (yes I am admitting, I was wrong) and it all paid off. Jager has learned soooo much this year about his position about what other people are suppose to do and it has paid off. He is a tackling monster - I wish I would have kept up with how many sacks he had because it would have been in the double digits he did so good.
The team did an awesome job beating some really good teams and getting to play in the championship game last week. The only thing that I really don't get (and I do NOT understand football) is the fact that the coaches agreed to end the game with the score tied 6-6....(??) Not that I'm upset about Jag getting a trophy and his opponets getting one, BUT the whole point of a championship is to have a champion right? I mean, that's what I've always known with other sports and heard about football - could you see the SEC Championship being a tie and both teams taking the title (CO-Champs) or the same for the Super Bowl... No this isn't that serious and I do not think that rec league sports should be "do or die" like some parents think but come on ----- co-champs?
That's over now, and Jag's hardwork this season paid off, he was nominated and picked to play Allstars for the Rec Dept so we will be playing Football right up until Thanksgiving. Go Jag - we love you the most and are soooo proud of you buddy!
