Career Change....

Well - Thank Goodness for friends who have knowledge in carpenty, electricity, etc.... because dealing with contractors isn't my cup of tea... Actually I would like to know a bit more of their trade so I can quote people astronomical amounts to do simple remodel work, I can see me with a tool belt now!! Sheesh!!

First estimated budget in December : $3500
January budget since materials were given to us (thank God for great peeps): $1500
Quote to complete job: $2100

WHAT THE DEUCE???? we have the materials - I was floored! So changing up on the plans, and pulling in other resources to get this jazz accomplished. I'm seriously not one to cheap out on quality work - but I'm not one to be ripped off either! So.... back to letting Ant handle things and making sure he stays tight on that budget while I'm sailing away from stress!
